Polyester is solution dyed in its raw state and extruded into fibers. These polyester fibers are then ring spun with cotton fibers to produce an intimate blend. This strategic blend produces a stable and consistent colored yarn.
The overall presence of polyester extends the life expectancy of towels with stronger selvages and less linting.
HOW IT WORKS:
1 - Begin with Dyed Raw Polyester
2 - Dyed Raw Polyester extruded into Dyed Polyester Fibers
3 - Dyed Polyester Fibers and Natural Cotton Fibers are spun together
4 - The Result: An Intimate Blend of Cotton and Polyester
